A lot of good decisions were made when developing Arkham Asylum, but bringing in the BTAS voice cast was among the best.
I still can’t believe how good Asylum was. I know some people prefer later games in the series, but the intimacy of the smaller environment in Asylum made it the best of the series IMO. It felt almost like a Metroidvania but with Batman.
Game mechanics and game play, especially combat, is improved in the next one, and the freedom of moving in an open environnement is also very fun and cool, but I agree the intimacy of the smaller environments in Asylum are amazing.

It’s an incredible, incredible game.
