Do the medals mean anything? I did the military thing and have some medals and ribbons, and they each have specific meaning. Anyone can look at a picture and go to a wikipedia article and basically see when I served, what I did, etc. Are these just decoration? The US military is pretty active (unfortunately). I don’t exactly see North Korea getting out there and fighting wars in the same fashion, so as to warrant such well decorated members.
I’ve never been sure which is funnier, all the medals or the enormous hats.
I think we should support men trying to be pretty. Otherwise we end up with nothing but boring grey clothes.
