Aren’t these moths endangered?

I know this is privileged but if it comes down to needing to eat insects, just put me down.

The big problem with eating fried insects is that you need to rinse your mouth with something or the bits stay around. Flour made from insects may be better, but it is 5-10 as much cost, and since it is mostly proteins you would need special recipes for it, I guess.
Most insects probably have similar mouth feel issues.

This is a facebook bs repost. There are no articles from ‘authorities’ encouraging anyone to eat the moths.

I’ve eaten thai-style fried crickets, they really weren’t that bad. I think you just have to turst that they indeed are edible, so its easier to think of them as food rather than bugs

How is 40 billion moths, considered “scarcity”?
