    I think a lot of tech was tedious mental labor for which women were recruited: think ordering punch cards, calculations, etc. I think it was only in the 1980s with the PC that they started getting pushed out of the programming field.

    But I think this woman is here because the people who bought the machines women worked on were exclusively men.

      If women were once viewed as lesser and given tedious tasks for being viewed as such; and now everyone that doesn’t have an impressive net-worth is being used for the same menial tasks… does this make the magnificent woman equal now, or have those that weren’t before considered to do these tasks less than they once were?
