Take small mason jars, fill them with vanilla pudding, and stick mayo labels on them. That way the kids can walk around eating fistfuls of “mayo”

Or make a chocolate Mayo cake
I found Jello brand white chocolate pudding has the perfect slightly off-white tone to match mayonnaise. I filled an empty mayonnaise jar with it and started eating from it with a spoon while some friends were over. The trick to really selling it was buying a pressure sensitive cap liner to reseal the top so I had to peel it open like a fresh bottle.

You can also just have some fun doing something stupid and low stakes that will make for fond memories for your child.
Its equally important for parents to set personal limits. Both for themselves and to teach kids that other people have limits, and that other people dont exist to entertain their every whimsy.
The “low stakes” youre thinking of might be someone else’s last straw.
If a silly theme for your child’s birthday once or year is the last straw, you probably shouldn’t have kids. Obviously say no if they’re asking for dumb shit every single day, but it’s a birthday party and the kid is clearly just having fun. I’d probably still talk to my parents if they actually ever tried to have fun with me when I was young.
