    Its because a massive amount of our real estate economy is propped up by artificially inflated office space which would kneecap a ton of corporate and REIT profits if they were to go down to actually affordable costs.

      That would mean almost all employers are somehow invested in office space, so much that they rather cripple their business. But that is clearly not the case.

        No, just the big corporate ones and specifically the Companies and groups that hold major stock in a lot of other corps.
