That’s fine, but round corners are not only an anesthetic choice, but also a structural one. Sharp corners and abrupt changes in geometry in general are bad for stress concentration, impact resistance and honestly also for handling.

I don’t think it matters here much, and if I’m not mistaken, there is even a slight radius on the corners.

I mean, at that point, don’t discuss it in text, but use a scheduling tool that forces people into a framework. If they refuse, they’re just being a dick, but at that point, at least it’s obvious they’re fucking around.
