They’re terrified that if they think about it too much or learn too much about it that they will have their mind changed and be alienated by their family/friends/communities.

I’m not afraid to learn about politics and challenging the ideals of the people around me, which is more than I can say for the magats who live in fear of daddy not loving them anymore when they tell him Trump is a moron.
