Be honest and kind, use logic and facts instead of propaganda and slogans, and realize that a lot of people don’t agree with you. Treat them with basic respect and civility regardless.
For example, if you’re a Democrat, proceed with the knowledge that only 30% of your fellow voters are Democrats. Another 30% are Republicans, and remaining 40% are Independents.
We all agree on some points and disagree on others; insulting 70% of the people around you isn’t going to do anything for you or your political objectives.
To treat a “person of color” differently is racist, in my opinion. They’re not special.
