This is why my couch broke after less than 6 months. There were, like, a hundred staples definitely not in the right place.
The inspector allows a certain amount of misses
I have much worse in one spot (that I can see) in my garage. No telling how bad it gets inside the walls. About halfway down from the top the staples appear and veer off in a curve to the bottom at which point they’re a good five inches off the target. It’s pretty funny.
Also, just so everyone knows, those staples hold extremely well. They have an adhesive on them. They hold better than nails.

But do they allow all the misses for one whole structure to be on one fucking board?

I don’t know. That’s a lot of nails for a DR Horton house. There should be like 4 for the entire wall.
