Miniature Donkeys are known to cause hundreds of senseless human deaths each year. Shit, no, wait, that’s cops.
Those are the urban pigs.
Officer Trenton Garner wrote that he fired one shot after the donkey charged toward officers and an attempt to scare it away with a Taser did not work, according to the Cedartown Police Department incident report.
“I tried all the ways I could force it to stop.”
It’s always brute force with cops. Hire the dumbest people and get the worst approaches to the easiest problems.
It was in a pen.
They shouldn’t have been in the pen anyway. Trespassing without a warrant.
Also. Who tf gets in a random pen on a farm?
You don’t know what’s in there.
Could be a bull out where you can’t see. Or a moose. Emus. I mean. It’s just plain stupid.
The Polk County K-9 handler removed his Taser and activated its electrical arc in an attempt to discourage the animal, but Garner said the donkey continued toward them
He turned on a hand tazer. The donkey didn’t respond to a 2 in arc of electricity, so he shot him. No warning shot, or anything either.
Okay, I thought I read it that way and I was confused as to what that was supposed to have done.
I suppose that compared to acorns falling on a car, this must’ve felt like a real threat to this cop. 🙄
A gang of armed thugs trespassing on private property don’t have a right to self defense.
It had 4 legs and fur. Might as well have been a dog to a pig.

It’s got an acorn!
I’m no animal expert , but I’ve heard that some farmers will put llamas on their land to protect their other livestock from coyotes (I guess llamas are known to trample coyotes?).
Do donkeys exhibit the same behaviors? I’m just attempting to hypothesize why a donkey would “charge” a group of K-9s.
Yes, donkeys can be protective.
Yup. Donkeys have been used as livestock protection for a very long time.
“explains”
OK, Israel is a terrible surname
