It looks like somebody accidentally scraped the last one off, so I replaced it as a courtesy.

This guy might be the single biggest driving force for renewables adoption. Who would’ve thought?

It wasn’t his corruption that sunk trump.

It wasn’t the epstein files that explicitly states he raped children as young as 12.

It wasn’t his bungling of ICE gestapo that got multiple Americans killed

It was gas and diesel prices. What a stupid fucking country.

Saying it’s just gas prices and diesel kinda undersells how bad this is in practice. All goods and produce are transported with diesel be it train, truck, or even canal boat it’s probably diesel let alone the farming equipment that also uses it. This fuckwit basically caused the one thing that no empire wants to deal with, logistical failure.

And yet, all the other stuff that person mentioned is still way, way fucking worse than “price of goods go up”

It is highly embarrassing to me, as an American, that our government has been kidnapping and murdering foreign heads of state. The President is a known pedophile. ICE is breaking the law every thirty seconds and illegally murdering and kidnapping folks. But when you listen to people in the USA, they’re primarily bitching about the cost of goods over any of that stuff. “Sure, the president is a known child rapist, but also there are logistical problems! It’s not just high cost of gas!” like listen to yourself.

I will not deny that but I will note that when push comes to shove it’s basically the only issue that breaks through party lines. Progressives and a good number of liberals were and are talking about all the other shit, but a lot of independents either don’t know or are so fucking checked out that they can’t really care, there was some of that energy with the files for example but that is abstract as a day to day issue. The cost of fuel though affects everything and everyone, when push comes to shove peoples ideology becomes irrelevant to the hunger in their stomach or in this case the gaping hole in their finances.

While it may be frustrating it does make sense that gas prices are causing an uproar since basically everyone is bitching about it regardless of their politics or ideology.

It almost as if, we should of diversified with other sources of transportation perhaps other ways of producing energy 🤔 what if we had a car that ran on electricity, or maybe a more robust train transportation system.

These are all just pie in the sky ideas. No country has ever attempted this. /s

“And again, remember, with the war, it’s just artificial. It’s a little bit high [but] it’s a small price to pay” - latest Trump quote i saw on rising petrol costs

That might backfire when suddenly all the trump supporters at the pump go “Oh, dear leader says it’s a small price, okay then. Can’t believe all those ungrateful libtards are complaining about gas prices!”

I think it already has. I’ve seen the response “I trust the president!” Something about how He gives his strongest soldiers the hardest battles?.. oh wait, I’m confusing the president with someone else.

Here in Ohio cheap unleaded is around 3.70, but only because the red governor purely out of the kindness of his heart and to ease the burden of the constituents he cares so much about recognized it’s 1 month til the midterm elections and suspended the gas tax for 90 days. Before that the cheapest gas I could find was 4.15.

Central Illinois here. The average price finally got down to around 4.17/gallon. And this is a low price area. It’s more expensive everywhere around us.
